Invisible Society Collection

Collection consists of 96 interviews, collected for the project “Invisible Society of Soviet-era Lithuania: The Revision of Distinction between Soviet and Non-Soviet Informal Networks” (2012-2015). The collection consists of interviews with catholic undergrounds, publishers of the Chronicle of Catholic Church of Lithuania (the most long-lived samizdat periodical in the Soviet Union) and other samizdat periodicals (“Perspektyvos”, “Vytis”, “Laisvės šauklys”, Rūpintojėlis”, “Pastogė”); representatives of youth life in the so-called Bermuda Triangle of Vilnius old town, activists of ethno-cultural movement, and intellectuals involved into non-systemic activities of saving the old town heritage, organised by the intelligentsia in 1977-8.
